Lorne Maltenfort is a dynamic attorney and consultant specializing in tax and nonprofit law, including consultation and strategic partnerships for many 501(c)(3)s in the Los Angeles area. When not practicing law, Lorne is the Executive Director of the Westwood Kehilla. Lorne has a strong record of improving efficiency and growth with numerous exempt organizations in Illinois, Wyoming and California.
Lorne moved to Los Angeles from Wyoming, where he co-founded the Jackson Hole Film Institute & Festival in 2003. Lorne has also chaired numerous boards, representing a broad spectrum of charitable organizations, including synagogues, medical research boards and canine rescue groups.
Lorne is passionate about creating a sense of family for the Westwood Kehilla community and making it a place where all feel welcome, regardless of Jewish background or experience. When not acting as our Executive Director or practicing law, you may find him hiking the mountains of Los Angeles with his two dogs.
